The Yucca Triathlon was this morning and NMSU started off the 2014/2015 season off with a bang bringing nine racers out. The race was comprised of a 7km/4mi run, 40km/25mi bike, and 400m swim. Upon arriving, we were treated to the usual New Mexico downpour that rained hard only for 10 minutes, but luckily it cleared up before the race start and left us with a few wet roads but otherwise perfect racing weather. Everyone who raced placed either in their age group or overall results! We ended up taking the 1st, 3rd, and 4th places for the men and 1st and 4th for the women! NMSU Triathlon is excited about the season and looks forward to racing fast at USAT Collegiate National Championship.
